The PARQ has recently been awarded LEED Gold certification

The PARQ received LEED Gold certification as it continues to set the standard for green innovation in Thailand. It is the first mixed-use development to receive LEED v4 BD+C: (LEED version 4 in Building Design and Construction) Core and Shell certification in the country.

“To be the first mixed-use project in Thailand to be certified to the latest v4 LEED Gold standard, highlights The PARQ’s position as a truly smart, integrated office, commercial and lifestyle space featuring the latest eco-friendly and sustainable technologies,” noted Kamolnai Chaixanien, Executive Director of TCC Assets (Thailand).

As one of Thailand’s most innovative developments, The PARQ has received a host of awards since its initial launch. This includes winning The Special Recognition Award for Green Innovation at the Dot Property Thailand Awards 2020.

“The Special Recognition Award for Green Innovation confirms our vision brought to life – to become Thailand’s leader in Green Innovation and Sustainability. Today, the PARQ is on track to become Thailand’s first LEED and WELL certified commercial building through the successful joint development efforts of both TCC Assets and Frasers Property,” Kamolnai told Dot Property. “We are humbled by this recognition and look forward to continuing to raise the standards of green innovation and sustainability in Thailand and beyond.”

Not only is the PARQ now v4 LEED Gold standard, it is also WELL* pre-certified and remains on track to gain recognition. It is the only mixed-use development in Thailand with both certifications.

“As the COVID-19 pandemic continues to change our way of life, a healthy environment in office buildings is becoming a key factor for people as they prepare to return to the workplace and lifestyle spaces,” said Khun Kamolnai. “We foresee a greater demand for workplaces and commercial spaces that promote the well-being of residents. As a fully integrated building created with people-centric and environmental sustainability principles in mind, PARQ is eager to embrace the return of livelihoods of urban working people and the community.”
