Justin Timberlake and Jessica Biel own a prized possession and they want a near-record amount for it. The couple just put their hulking Hollywood Hills property on the market for $35 million, and if they get their prize, it will be one of the biggest deals in the neighborhood’s history.

Unlike Tony communities in the west, such as Beverly Hills, Bel-Air and Brentwood, Hollywood Hills rarely sees sales exceeding $30 million. But this estate offers considerably more space than anything else on the market in the typically busy community.

Spanning 13,530 square feet, the Spanish-style stunner sits on over 10 acres, making it the largest home on the largest lot currently up for grabs in an area where land is precious.

Timberlake has owned the home for nearly 20 years, purchasing it from actress Helen Hunt in 2002 for $8.3 million, two years after it was built. Before that, according to the list, the building was once part of the estate of actor Errol Flynn.

During their stay, Timberlake and Biel remodeled the salmon-colored villa and added an 85-foot infinity pool, which flows into a plunge pool below. Other highlights on the landscaped grounds include a tennis court, meadow, woodland and vegetable gardens.

Tucked at the end of a cul-de-sac and secured by gates and a guardhouse, the clay-covered retreat opens up to quaint spaces filled with rustic beams over hardwood floors. In total there are nine bedrooms and 11 bathrooms, as well as a gourmet kitchen, gym and movie theater.

Just two homes in Hollywood Hills have sold for more than $35 million in recent years, according to the Multiple Listing Service: a modern mansion on Netflix’s “Selling Sunset” that traded for $35.5 million in hands in 2019 and a spec- house in the Bird Streets area that went for $42.5 million last year.

Timberlake, a ten-time Grammy winner, rose to fame as a member of the boy band ‘N Sync before embarking on a solo career in which he released five studio albums, including 2018’s “Man of the Woods.” As an actor, he starred in the films “The Social Network.” “, “In Time” and “Inside Llewyn Davis”.

Biel has been acting for nearly three decades and rose to fame as Mary Camden in the WB series “7”e Heaven.” Her other credits include “The Texas Chainsaw Massacre,” “The Rules of Attraction,” “New Year’s Eve,” and “Hitchcock.”

Justin Paul Huchel and Drew Fenton of Hilton & Hyland have their hands on the list.
