A new 23-storey residential tower is on its way to Green Square, which promises to be “incomparable”.

Mirvac’s ‘The Frederick’, now under construction and completed in 2023, will consist of 152 apartments priced at $720,000 at the gateway to the Green Square Town Center and will go on sale next Saturday (December 4).

Designed by Smart Design Studio in collaboration with Mirvac Design, the tower takes advantage of its parkland location to provide panoramic views of Sydney’s CBD and the parks and places in between.

Mirvac, Head of Residential Stuart Penklis, says buyers have a lot to look forward to with the new building, due to launch next Saturday.

“The Frederick will be an iconic contribution to the skyline within this highly livable and highly desirable new community as an unparalleled building,” said Penklis.

The 152 apartments range in size from 58 m² to 123 m², most of which enjoy cross winds, natural sunlight and city or park views.

The top 23rd floor includes a private Sky Lounge for the exclusive use of residents and their guests, with a Business Studio and Wellness Studio at street level.

Penklis says it has taken five years for the city center to settle and the vision to become clear to those who live and visit.

“The Frederick marks Green Square’s coming of age,” says Penklis.

“Five years ago, people had difficulty understanding the vision for Green Square.

“Now we have reached a stage where it is easy to appreciate what was considered so many years ago.

“The excellent urban planning, place-making and design is evident in the quality of the shops, the activation of alleyways and the provision of incredible local amenities such as the library, the Gunyama Park Aquatic and Recreation Center and Joynton Ave Creative Precinct.

“There’s a lot more to come with the construction of the Drying Green [the 6000 sqm park] making good progress, a future primary school and another 9000 m² of retail space on top of the 3000 m² already completed.

Prices range between $720,000 and $945,000 for single beds (58-71 sqm); $980,000 and $1,625,000 for two beds (83-139 sqm)

and $1.58 million – $2.25 million for three beds (119-123 square feet).
